    This delicious Viognier (pronounced ve-oh-neeyay) has a pretty honeysuckle and apricot aroma and rich,almost unctuous palate that also retains freshness. The finish is crisp, tangy and refreshing.

  • 2019 Bourgogne Chardonnay, Domaine Fournillon, France

    The crisp, fresh Bourgogne Chardonnay from Domaine Fournillon comes from vineyards close to Chablis and shares characteristics with citrus and mineral tinged fruit. The mid-palate has some elegant weight to it with a creaminess to the texture, despite there being no oak to the wine.

    This fabulous Organic white from Sicily with a balanced palate that is both savoury and fruity at the same time. Citrus notes and persistent floral tinges mingle with ginger spice and lovely fresh acidity.

  • 2022 Funkstille Gruner Veltliner, Niederosterreich, Austria

    Funky by name, funky by nature, this Gruner Veltliner is dry but not bone dry. It has lovely exotic hints of ripe pear and fresh citrus on the nose. The palate is rich with flavours of melon and grapefruit with a refreshing, zippy finish.

  • 2019 Rioja Crianza, Palacio Camino Real, DOCa, Spain

    A very classic style of Rioja with a complex nose showing aromas of ripe dark fruits mixed with coffee, vanilla, balsamic and woody notes. On the palate it is a typically smooth and fruity wine with gentle tannins. Great persistance and structure make it extremely enjoyable.

  • 2021 Trastullo Primitivo, Botter, IGT Sicilia

    This is a fabulous wine for those liking a fuller bodied style. This deliciously silky Primitivo is packed with blackberry and cherry fruit that is given a little extra depth courtesy of the use of a small amount of dried grapes from a secondary harvest. The result is a beautifully balanced wine which is full and rich yet approachable and hugely enjoyable and easy to drink.

    A fabulous Pinot Noir that has layers of black cherry, raspberry and cinnamon. Deep, with pretty fruitcake and spicy aromatics followed by a lovely long finish.

  • 2019 Astral de Puybarbe, Ch. Puybarbe, AC Cotes de Bourg, Bordeaux, France

    Chateau Puybarbe are sustainable producers of really enjoyable Claret. This blend of Merlot, Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc and Malbec is packed with opulent ripe cassis and dark berry fruit, hints of spice and wafts of vanilla. A great wine from a great Bordeaux vintage.

  • 2021 Cuvee M Reserve Malbec, Pays d’Oc, France

    Rich and fruit led yet easy to drink, this terrific Malbec from Southern France is much lighter than the Argentinian versions. Hints of violets and dark fruits and soft tannins.
