We are open under the Government’s new terms and will be closed to public at 10pm.  Table service only with a maximum of 6 people and masks MUST be worn while not sat down both inside and outside. We are continuing to do all we can to stay open and appreciate your support and loyalty. Many thanks Ben, Leanne and all the Brewcrew!

We have Covid-19 secure measures in place, to include safely screened off tables inside, and a large beer garden with outside bar. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Dorset and the West Country is home to some of the finest meat and dairy suppliers in the United Kingdom and our menus are designed to make the most of the wonderful fresh produce available on our doorstep.

Our menu ranges from traditional pub classics like homemade steak and stilton pie and a hearty Sunday Roast, to homemade haddock and horseradish fishcakes and delicious Thai curries – something to tempt all tastes.

Our restaurant can seat around 35 people and our bar area can accommodate a further 30 people, making us the perfect location for a meal, whether it’s an intimate meal for two or a large family celebration.

The Brewer's Arms

We have two spacious and beautifully decorated bed and breakfast rooms - a double with king-size bed and a twin with extra large single beds - each with a private entrance. Both are both are fully en-suite and look out over the courtyard garden. The twin bedroom has a wheelchair friendly wet room making it ideal for guests with mobility problems. Tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary bottled water are provided in the rooms, along with quality toiletries, a hairdryer and extra bedding.

Room Rates

Rooms cost £90.00 per night for two people with full English breakfast, including toast and fruit juice. The rate is £80.00 for single guests and a bed settee is available which can accommodate two small children to create a family room for four people at £120.00 per night.

Martinstown is a picturesque village about three miles from Dorchester, in West Dorset. The area is rich in history and blessed with the most amazing countryside, making it popular with walkers and cyclists. The South Dorset Ridgeway is close by and provides incredible views of the Jurassic Coast and many of the picturesque villages nestling in the lush countryside.

With a range of activities from golf to fishing on the doorstep please let us know if we can arrange or advise on anything before you arrive! Oh, and well behaved dogs are most welcome!
